New in our collection is the Yellow long neck fig, which I found to be incredible tasting, large in size and had complexity in the taste which is not very common with honey figs. Speculation and debate in the fig community suggests that Ben’s Golden Riverside NKA Golden Rainbow may be Yellow Long Neck
We were able to get one to ripen by Late August with our early start. This fig is definitely a winner and highly recommended. Yellow Long Neck is a true gourmet delight, you should not miss out on enjoying this sweet, delectable fruit. To fully enjoy fresh Figs you must grow your own to pick and eat when fully soft and ripe. Shipping them long distances when they’re fully ripe and at their tender, s is virtually impossible.
