Description
A dark jammy sweet fig from Marseilles France. This fig seems to put out a lot of figs MBVS stands for Marseilles Black VS this fig has a black exterior and a dark red fruit inside. The leaves are generally five-lobed and the tree produces medium-sized figs. It is early ripening, and reliability is hardy to zone 5 in the ground. it is in the Mount Etna class of figs but seems to be more productive than most other Mount etna types like Hardy Chicago.
