Description
This variety is a very vigorous grower with dense beautiful branches. It’s know for achieving a good bearing and has been labeled as the most beautiful fig due to it’s changing colours. It is quite prolific of figs of very good quality, and with a quite long harvest period. The figs start green then start changing. When ripening the change shifts to a coppery purple very showy, with a cracked reticular very marked. They are symmetrical in shape and uniform in dimensions. The pulp is red and very tasty; the achenes are small, but in great quantity; the skin is thin, of fine texture. They have a medium ease of peeling and a good abscission of the peduncle. They are moderately resistant to rain and the opening of the ostiole, very prone to detachment and little resistance to transport.
